Practical Information
Welcome to Algarvian Charity Pro-Am.
​
We will play 4 fantastic golf courses: Quinta do lago South and North, Pinheros Altos and San Lorenzo.
​
This is a 72 hole team event and an Individual Pro event at the same time.
​
In the Pro Am event the teams consist of 4 players (1 Pro + 3 amateurs).
The score is calculated with 3/4 hcp and the best two net Stableford scores per hole.
​
The handicap system is counting for the team card and Pros under 50 play of +2 ,
Pros between 50 & 65 years old play of scratch and pros over 65 play of 2.
​
There will be 2 prize funds for the professionals in the Individual Pro event, 72 hole stroke play.
One for professionals 50 years & over and one for professionals under 50.
All Pros are scratch for the individual event.
​
The event is open for all Professionals and amateurs (no age or hcp limit).
​

All players will pay €70 at registration to boost the Pro Prize money and donate to our chosen charity.

7 nights accommodation with breakfast in a twin room at Dona Filipa Hotel, 5 rounds of golf, welcome cocktail, 1 buffet dinner and 1 prize ceremony dinner.
Prize per player - €900
Prices on request for single room supplement
& selection of rental cars.
Nearest Airport is Faro (20 mins), Lisbon (2 hour 20 mins) and Malaga (4 hours).

19h00 Buffet dinner at Pinheiros Altos Clubhouse.
THURSDAY | 16TH JANUARY
Free day;
Optional individual tournament at Laranjal.
FRIDAY | 17TH JANUARY
3rd Round at Quinta do Lago North, South,
San Lorenzo or Pinheiros Altos Golf Courses.
SATURDAY | 18TH JANUARY
Final Round at Quinta do Lago North, South,
San Lorenzo or Pinheiros Altos Golf Courses
Prize Presentation Dinner at Bovino Steakhouse.
